sitting in the Chalet

Sometimes, the use of foreign words is confusing. Chalet. I was invited to be in the Chelo's Chalet at this years Rhode Island Air National Guard Airshow. Now, I conjure up images of the Swiss alps when I hear "chalet" so I didn't really to know what to expect.
The giant row of blue tents was in line with the expectation of the airshow, but I just don't know how chalet became the term of choice to describe these blue tents.
Anyway, the airshow and our friends in the RAF from across the pond were fantastic. The food, though I had been forwarned that it would be a cold service, was very good. Shrimp ceasar salad, chicken salad in a pastry with cranberries, and some watermelon to top it off.
I decided to thank my hosts by taking a snap of the venue with their swag. Shot for maximum depth of field, post production in photoshop. A paper coffee cut torn in half provided me with a bit of angle on the food.
